The Guitar Citadel ("we", "us", "our") is a trading name of Seth Baccus Guitars Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 11239391, registered address: 11a Kimberley Park Road, Falmouth, Cornwall, TR11 2DA, United Kingdom). These Maker Standards apply to every member who creates a Maker profile or applies for Maker verification on the Service. They sit alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, which continue to apply in full.
01 Honest representation
- Your Maker profile must describe a real person, workshop or brand that you are authorised to represent.
- Your Maker name, history, categories and examples of work must be accurate and must not imitate, impersonate or trade on another maker, brand or workshop.
- You may only present work as your own where you built it, or where your role in its creation is clearly and honestly described.
02 Your public profile
- Everything on your public Maker profile (name, about, categories, location label, links, photographs, featured gear) is visible to anyone once your profile is listed.
- You are responsible for the content you publish. It must not contain unlawful material, infringe intellectual property rights, or breach our Community Guidelines.
- Location works on consent: your public label is limited to town and country; an approximate map position and a street address for directions each appear only if you switch them on, and you can switch them off at any time.
03 Conduct
- Treat members, buyers and other makers with respect in all interactions connected to the Service.
- Do not use your Maker profile to mislead members about prices, availability, lead times or the condition or origin of instruments and gear.
- Commission arrangements, sales, payments and deliveries are agreed directly between you and the other party. Unless we expressly state otherwise, The Guitar Citadel is not a party to those transactions.
04 Verification is a trust signal, not a guarantee
Verification reflects a Guitar Citadel review of your public presence and examples of completed work at the time of your application. It is not a guarantee of workmanship, safety, product authenticity or financial standing, and members should exercise their own judgement in any dealing with a maker, verified or otherwise.
05 Keeping your status
- Keep your profile accurate as your circumstances change.
- We may suspend or revoke a Maker's verification or public listing where these Standards, the Terms of Service or the Community Guidelines are breached, where we reasonably suspect misrepresentation, or where required by law. See the Verification Terms for how suspension, revocation and appeals work.
06 Changes to these Standards
We may update these Standards from time to time. Where a new version applies to you (for example when submitting a verification application), you will be shown the current version and asked to accept it.
